Susan M. Turley, MA (Educ), BSN, RN, RHIT, CMT, is an adjunct professor in the School of Health Professions, Wellness, and Physical Education at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland, where she teaches medical terminology and medical transcription courses. As with most books on atmpospheric diffusion, Pasquill's and Smith's book is heavy in statistical math. Claire's emotional and physical changes are causes of concern, but when Giles ends up dead, Bethan begins to think there are supernatural forces afoot, especially given the string of deaths afflicting only the English visitors to the village.
The suspense is credibly built throughout the story and although the first third of the novel could have moved a little faster (I felt there was too much focus on the politics sub-plot), the rest of the story developed nicely and kept me flipping the p
