Rodney Stich, the author of over a dozen non-fiction books on government operations, was a Navy Patrol Plane commander in World War II; an international airline captain, a government airline safety inspector, and then an activist against corruption in goverhment.
While the author conducted extensive research and provides a complete and horrifying portrait of a man without a conscience, the more I read, the more I felt disgusted and repulsed by Eddie Cole. It is that good! The plot is absolutely wonderful and the characters are some of the best that I have ever read. The use of the mailing list plus accessing the tutorial sites will answer many of your questions and to superior levels of detail. In this year of scores of new books on Abraham Lincoln, I think others are of better value and more informative for the common reader. My son is obsessed with science, and asks to learn about it daily. Her prose is beautiful and she weaves theory seamlessly into narratives, giving something for both academic and non-academic readers to chew on.
