The only reason I haven't stopped reading is because I like to finish what I've started.
If you are looking for long unstructured lists of one liners basically repeating the same things over and over again, interspersed with catchy quotes and great photography, this is the book for you.
I have no doubt that the author has a wealth of knowledge on the subject, but that knowledge is not packaged in a digestible and actionable format.
If you want a better, if older, book dealing with this subject, try "The Triathlete's Guide to Mental Training" by Ph.D. Sometimes the rewards for living in these areas are substantial; rich soil for farming, access to maritime resources or other financially rewarding endeavors.
