I have been waiting for this book to be published for a long time, since I happen to have more than a passing interest in Byzantium, and in its military and political history in particular. I bought this textbook for a family and consumer science class. This book, if you let the truth drill into the core of who you are, will change your life. He gives the reader a chance to be horrified by the thought that one does not have to be born a monster to become one. I love photography and birds so when I came across the book, Bird Brains: 'Inside the Strange Minds of Our Fine Feathered Friends' by Budd Titlow, I was really interested in reading it, the only thing holding me back was the price. Not surprisingly, after several books with the same premise, her suggestions become repetitive and her writing trite and silly.
