Deborah Hedstrom-Page is the author of many books. She speaks at women’s events and also teaches writing. After fifteen years of widowhood and raising four children as a single parent, Hedstrom-Page recently married a pastor and lives in Springfield, Oregon.

I will offer that I don't read a lot of fantasy, so I don't have a lot of comparisons to make. Illustrations are extensive, but tend to be pulled from other books or from manufacturers manuals, so sometimes include unnecessary detail, especially in the carburation chapter (which was very complex and a little over my head). This is a three book series and each book is very good. I was about 8 years old when I received this book in 1980 or thereabouts (being a huge Monkey fan at the time from the TV adaptation), and I still refer back to it. I'm not sure what country he visited, but all the hills around as far as the eye can see are covered in trees. They range in price from $12 to over $100. His demonstration was so compelling that they launched the Keely Motor Company, and within five years it had capital stock of five million dollars.
