Nancy J. Parra holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas, but turned to writing fiction when she discovered it was more fun to interview the people in her head. She lives in the Midwest with her wonderful husband, her two almost perfect children, and a mutt named George Bernard, who grew to unexpected proportions.

There are drawbacks to this approach, but if you find yourself curious then you will probably find this easy read both enjoyable and interesting.

Since this book was published there have been many copy cats, so despite the controversy and criticism it seems to have become quite a legitimate practice to speculate over the possibility of famously talented but troubled individuals having been autistic. The language they are written in is easy to understand and read. I highly recommend acquiring this book.. This book is layed out (like the rest of the Dummies books) in a very easy to follow format. very detailed and put together and so informative and its one of those books which reads from the start, middle and it leads you to the present. The first of those assumptions is partially true, and the second is certainly true that needs to be set in context
