Much of the everyday information has been presented before (see the first comment under this review). That includes fish, sharks, porpoises and whales, turtles, and other wonderful beings. Uh, no. I only did this because of the way the author wrote her book. Sullivan's book "Empirical Truth" ia like reading several books combined together to form one complete package of knowledge that I found to be very informative and interesting. The men actually rule over the females in their familys like they did in old England. The term is rather excessive. A light and adventurous peek thru the lens, from an icon in the worlds of both scuba diving and underwater photography. It suddenly became more important than California. I don't enjoy books where the heroine and/or hero keep secrets from each other and it was an immensely annoying part of this book. Best book about these topics out there! Well written, with enough background and details on each topic to entice both the novice and the expert. I
